Employment

As an employee to one of the signatory contractors to the RTOA agreement, you will have access to the benefits in the industry.  All employees on the first hour of work begin to start eligibility towards health insurance that is provided as part of the RTOA agreement.  All employees after a probationary period can earn stipends for taking training that is paid by the Railroad Training and Education Fund.  Employees will also have the ability to earn credits towards a pension, giving them the opportunity to retire with dignity after years of hard work.  Work can require travel, but it is very rewarding.  If you are interested, please fill out the form, and your information will be passed along to our signatory contractors.
